Hasan's brainchild, Usephasan, exploded onto the hip-hop scene in 1998 with the raw vinyl EP "Chemistry Teraqueous." It gained much attention. This led to a spot on the underground classic compilation "The Persecution of Hip Hop," alongside Vaste Aire and Anticon members. In 2003, Usephasan released the 19-track album "Scienc.Esquizit." It featured the track "Periodic Tables." Chuck D of Public Enemy praised it as one of the top 100 MP3s of 2000.
